What if we could program the body to fight cancer and other diseases? Meet Strand Therapeutics, with a mission to get mRNA to behave like software and build the infrastructure behind the technology. Part of the core innovation is to direct the mRNA: if it ends up inside a cancer cell, the program runs, the immune system is mobilized, and the tumor is targeted. If it lands in a healthy liver cell or kidney cell, nothing happens.
