Scientists have created a detailed brain atlas, describing over 3,000 cell types in human and non-human primate brains. The research, part of the BRAIN Initiative, could offer invaluable insights into brain diseases and how our brains work. 

Now, the research continues. The goal is to create a detailed atlas of cell types throughout a person's life and chart the cell interactions contributing to various brain disorders.
