Canaery, a Florida startup, is teaming up with a US lab to build a nose-computer interface that taps into dogs’ incredible sense of smell, decoding odors in real time without training. The tiny implant on a dog’s nose could spot everything from drugs to diseases, outsmarting smugglers’ tricks with concentration tracking. 

The goal: to make detection faster and broader, from security sweeps to health checks. This could amp up safety, sniff out toxins, or even reshape how we use animals in tech-driven futures.
