Researchers are investigating the therapeutic potential of psychedelic drugs like MDMA, psilocybin and DMT for treating mental health issues. Clinical trials with psychedelic-assisted therapy have shown promise. 

Now, startups have started exploring the idea of using virtual reality (VR) to replicate the effects of psychedelics for mental health benefits. 

Early studies indicate that VR experiences mimicking psychedelic trips can lead to decreases in depressive symptoms. Combining VR with psychedelic therapy is also being explored. 

This research could provide new insights into the therapeutic effects of both psychedelics and VR on mental health.
