Lately we have been seeing a number of initiatives working on electronic noses. The goal? Being able to smell diseases, just like dogs and some people can, but with technology. Many diseases like cancer, Parkinson's or depression gives out specific smells and soon we may be able to integrate an electronic nose directly into your smartphone. And why stop there?
