Scientists at Tel Aviv University just healed 12 out of 15 mice with long-term paralysis in an experiment. By engineering spinal cord tissue from human cells and implanting them into the mice, the mice were able to walk again. If this works in humans, it can offer paralyzed people hope that they may walk again.
