The bioreactor was designed for the chemistry industry. What if we redesigned it with biology in mind?

Redesigning bioreactors to mimic natural conditions and accommodate the behavior of microbes could expand their potential.

We are starting to see initiatives funding projects to develop innovative bioreactor designs that support a wider range of microbial species for industrial applications. 

This shift could lead to more sustainable manufacturing, drug production, and other innovative uses of microbes - and companies are already implementing these ideas to create efficient bioreactors that support continuous fermentation and scalability.
