Scientific research moves slowly because reading and analyzing takes time. 

AI systems can now work through massive amounts of literature and data that would take researchers months or years to process. Early use shows these tools can reproduce findings and generate new hypotheses across different fields. The bottleneck in science might be shifting from human capacity to compute capacity.
