Li-Fi, short for light fidelity, is a new wireless communication technology that uses light instead of radio waves to transmit data. This makes it a much faster and more secure alternative to traditional Wi-Fi, but it also has a shorter range.
As the technology matures, its range and other limitations are expected to be addressed, making it a viable alternative to Wi-Fi in many applications.
