Senescent cells, also called zombie cells, slowly accumulate as we age. These are cell that has stopped working, and instead of dying, remains in our bodies, increasing inflammation and damaging healthy cells.

Research shows that we can slow aging, become younger and increase our well-being if we are able to eliminate / reduce them from our bodies - and money in pouring into gene therapies and treatments to do just that.
