Recent research shows that early stage mouse embryos develop normally in space, as they would on Earth. No evidence was found that space radiation damaged the embryos’ DNA or that microgravity affected their ability to differentiate into different types of cells.

This hints at a future where it would be possible to have human space babies, as we are closing in on becoming a multi-planetary species.
