Our bodies are capable of regenerating themselves - and lately we have started to understand how we could regenerate organs and tissue, previously thought impossible.

One of the latest examples now shows that we can use 3D printing and our own stem cells to regenerate our brains, potentially offering a path to treat to heal brain injuries.

This breakthrough also offers potential for future drug testing, and brain development research.
