A new initiative called the Brain Knowledge Platform is being developed to create a comprehensive map of the brain. 

This effort aims to enhance our understanding of brain disorders like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, potentially leading to better treatments. 

By compiling and standardizing extensive data on brain structure and function, this platform could offer valuable insights into the origins of neurological diseases, eventually improving diagnoses and therapies.
