Carbon emission from steel production alone accounts for a significant part of the global carbon emissions, around 8%. 

Now a new innovative concept has the potential to decrease carbon emissions from steel production by a lot. Also, it can be implemented in existing furnaces to establish a carbon recycling system that operates in a "closed loop".
